Cambridge Black Alumni Network Launch Event

The University of Cambridge Black Alumni network launches on 22nd February at 18:00 with a virtual panel event for members (membership is free) and current black students.

We have an excellent lineup of black alumni who will speak on the theme: Alumni Reflections, my black Cambridge experience. After the speakers have spoken there will be an opportunity for questions.

The Speakers are:

  • Priscilla Mensah, Trade for Development Policy Attachée at UK Mission, Geneva

  • Njoki Wamai, Assistant Professor in Politics and International Relations at United States International University - Africa

  • Ashley John-Baptiste, Senior Digital Reporter at BBC News

This is event is for members and current black students from the University of Cambridge. If you are an alumnus, please follow this link to sign up for free membership.

This is also an opportunity for the network Delivery Team to officially launch the network, and the co-chairs will briefly explain our plans for the network and what to expect from membership over the next few months.

The event will take place virtually on Zoom. Please hold the time in your diary. We will send all attendees the zoom link ahead of the event.

To keep up to date with the network, please join the LinkedIn Group here and follow us on your social media platforms of choice (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn Page).
